I’m tired of watching our country being torn to shreds by those who think the answer is more government debt and control. I’m tired of being in bondage to a tax system that robs U.S. citizens like the king of England did before the Revolution.

"You need to go check on the goats." These words were uttered to me as my wife came down the stairs the other night. And it began a simple process in my brain.

It’s that time again. Time for the annual rating of the states on how they infringe on your 2nd Amendment rights. Otherwise known as the Brady Campaign State Scorecard. Each year the Brady Campaign rates the states on how they infringe on your rights with …

Gotta love Ted. Rule No. 1: Never bring a beanbag to a gunfight.
A humorous look at over the counter medication!
Whenever a tragedy like the Arizona shooting occurs, the gun rights folks cringe. Because we understand what is coming. We know how the gun control mind set works. We know how deep and how shallow it is.

Just goes to show you that liberals, and the liberal media outlets will stop at nothing to blame conservatives when it suits them. And if they can pin anything, I mean anything on Sarah Palin, they will go out of their way to ignore facts.
It might seem strang to you that a professed avid (some would say rabid) supporter of the 2nd Amendment would link such an article. Here's why:
This is a very powerful opinion piece. It is neither pro Democrate nor pro Rpublican. Take the time to read it completely. Regardless of your political leaning, this may very well sum up your feelings right now about our elected officials.
It would be funny, it it weren't so outragious.
They must. They go out of the way to ensure that they (criminals) are protected from law-abiding citizens. That’s the only explanation I can come up with.

Let's review a couple of articles recently published concerning the abortion of a Health Care Law your lovely liberal leaders are shoving down our throats.

I could write a long politically charged article, sure to raise the hairs on the back of the necks of many liberals. But I think the headline says it all.

Our elected leaders have lost their collective minds. That's my opinion. They have become ignorant to the will of the people. It was made obvious with the lead head line on Drudge today: "DEM THREAT: SENATE CAN PASS HEALTHCARE WITH 51 VOTES".

"Despite the Main Stream Media" was added by me. The rest of it is the original headline from MSNBC. Similar headlines can be found on all news outlets, minus my editorial addition.

Quite funny actually. The president of the SEIU thugs. But I think he is a bit off the mark. I'm of the opinion that passing the health care plan as it is written now, will result in the retirement of many in congress.
I have a birthday coming up, and the wife has agreed to allow me to purchase a new handgun. (She's a good woman sometimes.) So I thought I'd do some presales shopping at my local gun dealer to check current offerings and prices.

New (old, it's been a week) evidence has surfaced showing that the "Obama as Hitler" posters that everyone is frothing at the mouth about weren't manufactured by Republicans, talking heads, or "thugs", but were actually invented by the Larouche Pac, who happens to vote Democratic …
At a protest rally outside a Town Hall meeting in Arizona, a man showed up with a rifle slung over his shoulder. He's not the only one to show up with a weapon. Several other people were observed carrying side arms. Arizona is an Open Carry state.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Bowing to Republican pressure, President Barack Obama's administration signaled on Sunday it is ready to abandon the idea of giving Americans the option of government-run insurance as part of a new U.S. health care system.
News outlets that are focusing on the incendiary rhetoric of conservatives outside President Obama's town hall meeting Tuesday ignored the incendiary rhetoric -- and even violence -- of liberals outside an appearance by former President George W. Bush in 2002.
Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low as just 42% of U.S. voters now favor the plan. That's down five points from two weeks ago and down eight points from six weeks ago.
You need to read this article. Understand his examples of rationing of care. They are not new. I have run into the same problems with the VA Health Care system and my asthma medications which they do not provide.

While CNN pundits spent a lot of time defending asking Newt Gingrinch about his ex-wife’s interview after the debate tonight, they should be asking themselves…why did we not give Ron Paul equal time (ANY time) tonight? The answer to that is obvious: they too, like FO …
Remember the uproar regarding Newt's "ethics violations?" In brief, David Bonior brought 75 ethics charges against Newt, 74 which were found to have no merit whatsoever (and people say that Ken Starr is on a "witch hunt?").

I just want to thank you Angry for keeping your readers and commentors engaged, it is one of my pet peeves that there are so many seeders and authors that do not engage with people they just seed and let people run amok
i like your articles, and thank you for serving my country, although we might disagree on some things, i appreciate and respect your beliefs and concerns :)Peace :)
AWM, I can't thank you enough for 'taking me under your wing' and helping me jump into the Vine with both feet. Your comments are intelligent and a joy to read as well as thought provoking. The only issue I have with you is the Dodge in your picture. (Ford F-250 girl here...) But heck...no one is perfect (wink)....Thanks for being part of my 'cyber-family'

You beat me to it, Angry! I had my clicker ready to go on that "Friends" link. I enjoy our debates too. We might be on opposite sides of the aisle but we both seem to be able to give credit when credit is due, even if it pains us! ;-) And I am coming back to read "Maybe Obama SHOULD win in 08" - that should be rich!
